The following year, 2018, the restoration work began in earnest. The body and chassis were revitalized through a meticulous restoration process, after which the car was painted by Dicka Bil. This laid the foundation for restoring the vehicle into something truly worth taking pride in. Piece by piece, the VW began to come together again.
