Your Convertible as delivered from the factory

The following questions are about the original specifications of your Convertible as it was delivered from the factory. You can find most of this information on the Volkswagen birth certificate.

If the convertible still has its body number, please share its body number. That is the main identification used in the registry. If the body number is lost, please share its chassis number as secondary means of identification. If you don't know certain (other) details, just leave the field blank.

Select "15-" from the list if your Convertible has a "15-" prefix in its body number. Enter the five-digit body number in the second field.
Please enter the VIN. You can find the VIN on the birth certificate, on the VIN tag behind the spare wheel or under the rear seat of your Convertible.
Please enter the build date of the car as shown on the birth certificate.
Please enter the delivery date of the car as shown on the birth certificate.
Please enter the original destination of the car as shown on the birth certificate.
If you know the original engine number, please enter it here. Otherwise, leave the field blank.
Please enter the original colour code and colour name as shown on the birth certificate.
If your Convertible was delivered with a two-tone paint scheme, please enter the secondary color of the side panels here.
Please enter the M-codes as shown on the birth certificate, without descriptions and separated by a space e.g. "M018 M020 M050 M067 M089 M094 M107 M128 M158 M918"
